Maison Libanaise | Grillades À La Maison

Spend the holiday the Beiruti way and feast on a Mother’s Day edition of Maison Libanaise’s weekend feast Grillades À La Maison. The grilling feast is rounded out with a selection of signature starters and mezzes from Lebanon before sinking into a line-up of dishes prepared on an open-charcoal grill, all available in infinite servings. Expect to see Head Chef Teya Mikhael’s signature touch on traditional dishes including Trabousle Shish Taouk, a chargrilled chicken skewer served with tomato and caramelised onion or Kasbse Tiger Prawns, kabse spice, garlic, butter marinated prawns. Indulge in the recently added Ayras Kafta, served toasted and sandwiched between the walls of pita. The entire afternoon affair is inspired by Chef Teya’s childhood, where weekends and holidays were best spent cooking up an infinite spread of barbecued meats and seafood alongside her mother, aunts, and grandmothers.

Magistracy Dining Room | Mother’s Day Lunch
Sunday 14 May

Bask in the splendour of the grand London-inspired dining room as you select from a menu of classics crafted by Chef Matthew Kirkley. Treat Mum to a special afternoon steeped in history and tailor the Sunday afternoon feast to your liking and select à la carte from the dining room’s signature dishes. Kick things off with a selection of seasonally rotating Oysters or premium Petrossian Caviar before enjoying a selection of signature starters. From the Pacific Blue Prawn Cocktail using Osi-blue prawns to a choice of salads including the Magistracy’s Endive & Stilton Salad with Stilton blue cheese, crystal pears and candied walnuts or the hand-chopped Steak Tartare using Blonde d’Aquitaine beef and served with Japanese egg yolk and grated Parmigiano Reggiano DOP.

The show-stopping mains include a choice of wild-caught Dover Sole Goujons or the newly added Roasted Salmon, using Ora King salmon served with sorrel and a cream sauce. Let mum make the choice, whether it is the not-to-be-missed Prime Rib, carved tableside, or the new-to-the-menu Roasted Australian Roaring Forties Lamb served on the rack and with a classic lamb jus. With a selection of side orders, the afternoon is best spent in a leisurely way before tucking into a selection of puddings, from the traditional Sticky Toffee Pudding to the Burnt Cambridge Cream.

Buenos Aires Polo Club | Club Brunch & Prime Rib Dinner

Sink your teeth into a line-up of entradas to start the meal, from the stunning Plato de Mariscos brimming with seasonal seafood to the Gaucho Omelet studded with spicy chorizo and shavings of provolone. Celebrating its selection of prime cuts grilled in the ‘asado’ tradition, the main feature of the meal is the General Pico Black Angus Ribeye which has been slow-cooked for 12-hours paired with ample sides and the indulgent Tostada Dulce Fondue to finish. Make it a true Polo Club experience and opt in for one of the infinite serving options to make the weekend afternoon a truly celebratory affair.

Those looking to treat mum to an evening affair need to look no further than The Club’s Prime Rib menu. This indulgent three-course feast is centred around a showstopping Black Angus Prime Rib and replete with Argentinian signatures including the creamy Provoleta served with rustic grilled bread, house-made Empanadas, and a litany of sides. Indulge in the signature Fries Provenzal tossed in duck fat, garlic and parsley and the Grilled Jumbo Asparagus before the meal wraps with a refreshing selection of sorbet and seasonal fruit.

Ideal for the mammas and nonnas who enjoy and deserve the finer things in life, make the afternoon a lively celebration and get ready to indulge. Curate the experience to your liking as you select from the a la carte menu, impress with a table filled with signatures from the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni to Mario’s Meatballs and the Caesar alla ZZ, prepared tableside.
