It’s time to reflect and commemorate on the past year by sending 2022 off with a big bang. Welcome the New Year with open arms and All We Want For The Holidays, the singular stop for all festive planning. From low-key, neighbourhood festivities, to raucous, blow-the-roof-off celebrations, and everything in between, there’s plenty happening in our world, the only thing left to do is choose.

THE FIASCO AT GRAND MAJESTIC SICHUAN

The FIASCO returns reimagined. Set in the prestigious Alexandra House, The FIASCO is given a new life at Grand Majestic Sichuan. Enter a time capsule that stops in the fragility and radiance of a neon-soaked Hong Kong in the ‘70s and ‘80s. The theatre of the space sets the scene for a journey into the flame-fired depths of Sichuan cuisine and a night suspended in fantasy.

At The FIASCO, space, spectacle, and dining become one and the same. Pulsating with heat, the menu mines the riches of Chinese culinary tradition. The night touches on the full glossary of spicy, tingly, numbing, sweet, sour, savoury, bitter, and smoky – forming a symphony of flavours and sensations. All the world’s a stage – from the fleet of impeccably polished waiters, and the chime of Champagne glasses clinking in unison, to the tableside-flamed signatures, and you. Every story has a beginning and an end, but what lies between those two points is the journey. Under the glow of chandeliers, explore dimly lit corners, peel back the curtains, and meet complex characters along the way in an electric mix of live vignettes playing out throughout the space. The finale takes place on the outdoor terrace for a New Year’s Eve countdown overlooking the Hong Kong skyline.

GREEK WINE ORGY AT ARTEMIS & APOLLO

Ring in the new year in Herculean style with a spirited affair devoted to the nectar of the Gods. Celebrate as only the Greeks can with an evening of decadence, excess and extravagance, with dancing, singing, feasting, and drinking, all night long. Say Yamas! and ring in the New Year as you indulge in a selection of the Greek taverna’s cold and hot mezze, before sinking into sizzling Beef Tenderloin and a showstopping Wood-Fired Red Snapper served with roasted market vegetables. The Macedonian odyssey is fuelled in excess by generous pours of red and white wine, and ouzo, of course.

A NEW YORK NEW YEAR’S EVE AT CARBONE

Send the year off in relaxed sophistication at the original red sauce joint. Celebrate with a special menu of indulgent classics executed by Head Chef Jack Carson. The evening starts with decadent Caviar & Burrata and Carbone’s infamous Caesar Salad, prepared tableside by a tuxedoed Captain. The menu is primed with quintessential New-York-Italian dishes – Mario’s Meatballs, Dover Sole, Prime Porterhouse, and of course, the beloved Spicy Rigatoni Vodka. After indulging in a selection from our dessert trolley, the dials turns up as a live DJ kicks up the energy and takes the good vibes into the start 2023.

LE DISCO BRUNCH AT LA VACHE!

Unlimited steak frites, flowing vino, and disco vibes are the only way to welcome in the new year. Hong Kong’s favourite Parisian steakhouse transforms into its notorious, non-stop disco soiree for New Year’s Eve. Raise your glass with glory and gusto as you tuck into a feast of USDA Prime Entrecôte Steak, along with a plate upon plate of golden Frites. Revellers joining the riotous SoHo celebration after 10:30pm can look forward to a countdown complete with bottomless bubbles, house wine, and mimosa.

PIZZA MAKING PARTY AT MOTORINO

Arrivederci 2022! Celebrate new beginnings at Hong Kong’s original pizzeria Napoletana. Learn the art of making a Neapolitan pizza from start to finish. Alongside a selection of antipasti and free-flow pours of wine and prosecco, expert pizzaiolos and the Motorino team will be serving up pies and good vibes all night long. Get ready to countdown and welcome in a better year with more pizze for us all.

SIGRI LAMB AT RAJASTHAN RIFLES

Give the year one final salute while overlooking the bright lights of the city. Socialise, drink, eat, and welcome the New Year in exemplary style as the mess halls of the 1920s intended. Rajasthan Rifles breaks out the sigri and sets the stage for a warm and festive experience atop The Peak with a special New Year’s Eve Lamb slow-cooked over charcoal. Clink glasses and rub elbows with fellow officers over a spread of Anglo-Indian fare and glasses of flowing house wine, mulled wine, beer, and cocktails.

COLD BEERS AND HOT CHICKEN AT THE LAST RESORT

Round out the year at SoHo’s no-nonsense, come-as-you-are neighbourhood dive bar. No trace of glitz or glam here, and nobody’s going to pretend otherwise. Fuss-free favourites, cold drinks, and colourful characters are what make dive bars so incredibly comforting and nostalgic. Come for the countdown, and stay for the friendly faces, celebratory shot skis, and hot chicken.
