Two years in the making, we are proud to announce the official opening of our very own Team Canteen. The newly opened space is the first of its kind, a permanent central hub in SoHo dedicated entirely to our team of 1,000 strong, where team members can relax or take a break between shifts. This new opening solidifies our dedication to building a community within the city it calls home and to the people who have been integral in shaping the success of our story. Reflecting our core values, the Team Canteen is a commitment to our culture and community as we step into a new decade of hospitality.

Located in the heart of where our story started, the Team Canteen is situated just off Staunton Street in SoHo, providing a prime location for many of our team members. The bright, airy space is furnished with warm, earthy tones providing the ideal environment to take a break, relax or freshen up before shifts. As part of the project, we have built a top-of-the-line kitchen, not only giving chefs the opportunity to collaborate and to do R&D for new concepts and menus, but also allowing them to provide a choice of free, hot meals daily to the team. Menus for our team are being developed by our talented roster of chefs, so team members can expect week on week to try new dishes from the likes of Chefs Palash Mitra, Teya Mikhael or ArChan Chan. For our Founder Chris, “Our team is the foundation on which we will build the next ten, twenty, thirty years, so they deserve a place of their own away from guests, deliveries and the constant churn of the restaurants where they can really take a moment to recharge. It is a cliché, but hospitality starts at home and we believe if we look after our team, they will be better placed to look after you, our guests.”

Initially, the Team Canteen will remain a place exclusively for team members to utilise. Where they can come together, unite, and bring to life the next generation of experiences and culinary stories. For us, our song has always been about looking after those within our world, serving each other before serving anyone else and creating a nurturing and supportive community for our team members, the Team Canteen is the next step in its journey as Hong Kong’s most compelling hospitality team.
