FALCONE AND MOTORINO CELEBRATE CHEF ROBERTA’S RISE TO NO. 85 ON THE WORLD’S BEST PIZZA LIST
Hong Kong’s pizza scene reaches new heights as Chef Roberta de Sario secures the No. 85 spot on the prestigious World’s Best Pizza List, climbing three places from last year. Known for her fiery spirit and impeccable craft, Chef Roberta has transformed the city’s understanding of pizza, bringing the heart of Naples to Hong Kong with her signature flair.
To celebrate this milestone, Chef Roberta has returned from Milan with two new limited-edition creations that capture both the precision of Italian technique and the vibrancy of her own style. At Motorino, #85 ($238) celebrates the flavours of northern Italy over with rich salame milanese layered over creamy scamorza and fior di latte topped with crisp frisée. At FALCONE, Ottantacinque ($238) offers the comforting embrace of roasted potato, thyme, taleggio, fior di latte and hint of chilli heat.
We raise a slice to our Pizza Queen — congratulations on this incredible recognition. Long may she reign.

HOTAL COLOMBO’S NEW MENU IS A LOVE LETTER TO LAZY SUMMER DAYS IN SRI LANKA
The heat of the summer sun. School holidays spent ankle-deep in paddy fields. Cousins chasing prawns through the shallows, their hands slick with mud and laughter. Long days ended in the kitchen, where whatever was caught—fish, crab or prawns—was brought home, tossed into a pan, and eaten with a simple chilli sauce or chutney, still warm from the sun.
Chef Gizzy Alesbrook draws from her own childhood summers in Sri Lanka to create a menu that is lighter, brighter and made for sharing, with snackable plates and seafood-led dishes made for eating with your fingers and escaping the heat with a cold drink in hand.
The Prawn Rolls with Sweet Chilli Sauce (88) are a direct nod to the riverside hauls of her youth: fresh prawns wrapped and fried till golden, then dunked into a tangy dip. The Soft-Shell Crab Pakora (188) brings bold and crisp crunch, best chased with a cold beer.
For something heartier, the Seafood Kothu (178) reimagines the street-side classic with shredded roti, egg and vegetables and the catch of the day. A rotation of Kari (from 138)—the Tamil word for curry—brings comfort in every scoop, from chicken to beef to dhal, all best mopped up with flaky paratha. Sides like Coconut Rice (68), Kale & Cabbage Mallum (78) and a Crispy Eggplant Salad (78) round out the meal.
New menu is available now | Reserve here.

NEW PUNJAB CLUB TURNS EIGHT
When New Punjab Club opened its doors eight years ago, it ignited a dining movement that would place Punjabi cuisine on the global stage, earning the restaurant the rare distinction of being the only MICHELIN-starred Punjabi restaurant in the world. Within its wood-panelled walls and red leather banquettes, tradition and revelry have always gone hand in hand, making it a place where the aroma of smoke, the pour of a well-made G&T and the laughter of a boisterous dining room create nights to remember.
This anniversary celebration is a tribute to that legacy of flame and spirit. Chef Palash and Chef Sidhu present a menu built around the dishes that have defined the restaurant’s story: tandoor classics charred over hand-picked charcoal, plates layered with the smoke and spice of Punjab and the now-iconic Masalewali Chaanp (988), a lamb chop kissed by fire and rich with masala. Join us as we raise a glass to toast to eight years of riotous nights, unforgettable feasts and a MICHELIN-starred place in history.
