DECEMBER HAPPENINGS AT BLACK SHEEP 

As 2025 comes to an end, Black Sheep is proud to present a final lineup of new menus and events to complement an already robust lineup of festive offerings for the holidays. From sweet treats at Butter to a cocktail crawl through Hong Kong’s most vibrant neighbourhood, there is no shortage of ways to make it a December to remember.

BUTTER’S FESTIVE DELIGHTS & WORKSHOPS

Butter is set to sweeten the holiday season with an exclusive collaboration and a new series of interactive experiences. Throughout December, Butter teams up with classic French jam brand Bonne Maman for a limited-time collection of festive delights, including the Strawberry Hazelnut Cake, with sweet berries meeting nutty chocolate and Lil Chocolate Peanut Cakes, with crunchy peanuts and creamy buttercream, perfect for seasonal gifting. Guests can also get creative with the DIY Cookie Box, complete with vanilla Linzer cookies, mini jams and buttercream for decorating.

For those looking for an immersive experience, Butter launches its Cake Jamming sessions at The Peak, in partnership with neighbouring pizzeria Napoletana FALCONE. These chic monthly weekend sessions, starting the first Saturday and Sunday of December, invite guests to watch a chef’s demonstration before painting their own cake masterpieces, all while enjoying optional free-flow drinks high above the city.

SHAKEN & STIRRED RETURNS TO SOHO

Black Sheep invites guests to raise a glass to the festive season with Shaken & Stirred, a lively cocktail crawl through the heart of SoHo. Designed for those who love an afternoon of flavours, friends and fun, the experience brings together six of the neighbourhood’s most iconic spots for one seamless journey.

Guests can enjoy highlights such as a zesty El Pepino Picante with potato taquitos at Taqueria Super Macho, a bright spritz with aperitivo at Stazione Novella, a Pho-jito with crispy fish cake cracker at Chôm Chôm and a Lebanese G&T with Chef Teya Mikhael’s mini shish taouk at Maison Libanaise. The crawl continues with Hotal Colombo’s comforting egg roti and Colombo Porova, before winding down at Fukuro with a peach highball and chicken & leek skewer.

LE GARÇON SAIGON CELEBRATES 10 YEARS

Le Garçon Saigon is set to mark its tenth anniversary with an exclusive, one-night-only collaboration menu on 11 December. Head Chef Billy Lo from Le Garçon Saigon will join forces with Chef Dat Cao from Chôm Chôm to present a celebratory menu that blends the vibrant Saigonese grillhouse culture with modern Vietnamese flair. The evening will also feature a special homage to the restaurant’s legacy with a beloved signature dish created by Chef Theign Phan.

The anniversary menu is designed as a feast of bold flavours and unique preparations. Highlights include the Lobster & Crab Roll with sweet and sour fish sauce, Charcoal Kissed Scallop Ceviche featuring ginger fish sauce and calamansi and a Beef Pho Tartare with quail egg yolk.

In a special nod to the restaurant’s history, the menu will feature the beloved Roasted Aubergine with scorched chilli sauce and rau ram, a dish widely celebrated as a standout during Chef Theign’s tenure. Main courses, include the Ha Noi Style Turmeric Halibut and Grilled Beef Rib Eye wrapped in betal leaf with fermented anchovy sauce. The culinary journey concludes with refreshing Lemongrass Coconut Ice Cream and Longan Pavlova.

HOTAL COLOMBO’S CRAB CLUB RETURNS WITH AN ISLAND FEAST

The fan favourite Crab Club returns to Hotal Colombo to take guests on a culinary adventure this December. Chef Gizzy presents a special menu inspired by the vibrant flavours of Sri Lanka, featuring both beloved classics and new favourites, such as the crispy new Jackfruit Croquettes, a popular Sri Lankan signature; String Hopper Kothu with chicken, back by popular demand; and the Lime Coconut Crab, a heartwarming and rich dish that features fresh coconut milk, turmeric and aromatic lime leaves; the perfect way to celebrate December in the land of Eternal Summer.

THE POLO CLUB DEBUTS NEW COCKTAILS

Nestled within the heart of Hong Kong’s handsome Argentinian steakhouse, The Polo Club is the perfect place to unwind and socialise. Beverage Director JD Valencia debuts 10 new cocktails and mocktails to warm up with during the changing weather, including Canela, a tea-based drink; and Dulce, a dessert-inspired cocktail with layers of aged rum mixed with chocolate and mint, with a special dry ube finish.
