We are proud to announce the ten-year anniversary of the Black Sheep Family Fund, our social impact arm dedicated to supporting team members, partnering with charities and mobilising global relief efforts. Since its inception, the Black Sheep Family Fund has been a cornerstone of our mission, embodying the team’s belief that genuine hospitality begins with taking care of our community and connecting us to a greater cause. 

“Service has always been at the heart of who we are and what we do. We have always supported our team through the Family Fund, and ten years into our journey, we have an understanding in our hearts that our community is not just those people in Black Sheep, but the greater ecosystem that we are a part of,” says founder Syed Asim Hussain.

To mark this milestone, we will host a citywide series of activations across September and October that invite the entire Hong Kong community to take part in this decade-long journey of giving back.  

Dish For A Cause: Dine With Purpose
15 September to 15 October
All restaurants will spotlight one feature dish on their menu, with 100% of proceeds from that dish donated to the Black Sheep Family Fund, such as Chef Alyn Williams’ Three Yellow Chicken at Magistracy Dining Room, Chef Luca Marinelli’s Iwashi on Toast at Salon des Refusés and Chef Mina Güçlüer’s Baba Au Rhum with Mango from MICHELIN-starred BELON. 

Black Sheep Family Fund Citywide Food Drive: In Support Of Feeding Hong Kong
15-21 September
Over the course of one week, we will aim to collect one ton of non-perishable food. Donations can be made daily during service hours from 12pm to 10pm at Maison Libanaise, Grand Majestic Sichuan, Le Garçon Saigon, La Vache! TST and FALCONE Peak. 

Celebrating A Decade Of Difference At Rajasthan Rifles

The ten-year anniversary of the Black Sheep Family Fund will culminate in a grand evening atop The Peak at Rajasthan Rifles. This milestone evening will bring our community together to honour a decade of shared purpose and meaningful impact, while raising vital support to carry our mission forward. Guests will gather over a menu curated by Chef Palash Mitra of MICHELIN-starred New Punjab Club, crafted in celebration of this extraordinary journey, with live entertainment from a band of Black Sheep team members and special surprise treats courtesy of new openings on The Peak at FALCONE, La Vache!, Peak Pizza, Butter and Messina. 

A Slice Of Community: Pizza Day At Exchange Square
Sunday 19 October, 12-3 PM
To celebrate the opening of Peak Pizza at Exchange Square, we will offer complimentary slices for all guests who stop by between 12pm to 3pm. For those interested in lending their support, donations will be collected on the day to support Feeding Hong Kong. 

Dine In And Help Out, One Dollar At A Time
Across All Black Sheep Restaurants
Whenever guests dine at restaurants across Black Sheep, a HK$1 donation on every receipt will be matched dollar-for-dollar, with proceeds going to Feeding Hong Kong and supporting their work to bridge the gap between food waste and hunger in Hong Kong. 

What Is The Black Sheep Family Fund? 

Formally registered as a charity in 2023, the Black Sheep Family Fund has been instrumental in shaping Black Sheep’s culture of care and accountability. It drives impact through three core pillars: 

• Direct Team Member Support: Providing financial assistance to our team for unforeseen incidents, health challenges and personal emergencies. 

• Strategic Community Partnerships: Forging long-term partnerships with charities and NGOs to support initiatives aligned with Black Sheep’s values. 

• Global Emergency Relief: Mobilising resources rapidly in response to international crises. 

Since 2015, the Black Sheep Family Fund has provided over HK$10 million in grants and charitable contributions, empowering team members and uplifting communities both locally and globally. 

The Black Sheep Family Fund is fuelled by donations, Black Sheep profit allocations and fundraising events. Guests and partners can support by making direct donations at any time via the Black Sheep Family Fund website, participating in anniversary activations and future initiatives.
