Le Petit Saigon (little brother and next door neighbour to Saigonese grill house, Le Garçon Saigon) serves up the city’s favourite banh mi. Like the best bánh mì shops in Vietnam, the menu is focused and the sandwiches are offered for takeaway only - guests are encouraged to perch on the stoop outside and enjoy their sandwiches curbside as they do in Vietnam.

Chef Theign used to spend her days off exploring the vibrant Vietnamese communities within Sydney’s suburbs, developing her understanding of traditional Saigonese ingredients and experimenting with new flavours and techniques. Now, as an expert over the woodfire grill, she brings her years of experience to Wan Chai, sharing her passion for this dynamic cuisine.
