Chôm Chôm kitchen and bar brings Vietnam’s lively bia hoi tradition of sipping fresh beer on busy street corners to Peel Street in Hong Kong’s vibrant Soho district. The menu is inspired by classic Hanoi street foods and is meant to be paired with the bar’s diverse selection of regional Vietnamese beers.


From Los Angeles to New York to Hong Kong, Chef John Nguyen is on a constant search for new ingredients and new challenges. He draws inspiration from seasonal produce and adapts his dishes to showcase local flavours and seasonal specialties. Having won over New York’s toughest food critics, awarded ‘Chef of the Year’ by Eater in 2017 while at Hanoi House, he he has arrived in Hong Kong to wow local diners with his award-winning craftsmanship and culinary creativity.
