BELON TURNS TEN

Ten years ago, BELON arrived in SoHo with a distinct point of view — modern French cooking shaped by precision, clarity and a commitment to excellence. Over time, it earned its place as the Pearl of SoHo, not through reinvention, but through consistency, discipline and a quiet confidence in its identity. What followed was not a fixed trajectory, but a steady evolution. From its move into a new space to a kitchen that continued to refine its voice, BELON remained grounded in its foundations while never standing still. Today, that evolution becomes the story. A decade in, BELON presents an anniversary menu that traces its journey from past to present, revisiting defining moments and reimagining them through the hands of Chef Mina Güçlüer.

FALCONE TURNS THREE WITH A BUON COMPLEANNO BLOCK PARTY

Three years of neo-Neapolitan pizzas, loud tables and the unmistakable spirit of Napoli. This June, FALCONE celebrates its third anniversary with a one-night-only block party at FALCONE IFC.

On Thursday, 11 June from 6pm onwards, guests are invited to gather for an evening of all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta and wines alongside a live DJ with the beautiful chaos that has defined FALCONE since day one.

From blistered crusts and generously topped pies to crowd-favourite pastas and plenty of spritz-fuelled energy, the Buon Compleanno Block Party brings together everything guests have come to love about FALCONE over the last three years: boisterous dinners, long nights and meals best shared with friends.

Since opening, FALCONE has built a loyal following with its playful take on neo-Neapolitan dining, inspired by the buzzing pizzerias and neighbourhood spirit of Napoli. Three years on, the restaurant continues to champion the joy of gathering around the table, where the music is loud, the pours are generous and there is always room for one more slice.

Rooted in simplicity and seasonality, the menu brings together crudo, local seafood and ingredient-led dishes that balance refinement with a more relaxed, convivial style of dining.

Highlights include Tiger Prawn & Cucumber Blossom Fritti, drawing from the fritto misto found across the Italian and French Riviera, Flower Crab & Uni served as a DIY-style crab bruschetta and Smoked Mackerel cured and smoked in-house. The menu continues through vibrant seafood dishes such as Big Eye Snapper with Mediterranean and Asian citrus, alongside desserts like Mango Pavlova and a minimalist Chocolate Ganache finished with Espelette pepper and olive oil.

FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE AT JEAN-PIERRE

Every summer, as the longest day of the year arrives, the streets of Paris come alive. Musicians spill out onto pavements and into cafés, glasses clink late into the evening and the city moves to the rhythm of Fête de la Musique, a celebration of music, food and the simple pleasure of being together. Jean-Pierre is bringing a little of that spirit to Hong Kong for an afternoon of live music, flowing conversation and a celebration of Parisian joie de vivre. Inspired by the neighbourhood brasseries, this is a evening to gather over good food, raise a glass and revel in the music together.

Because life is always better lived like the French: with passion, pleasure and just the right touch of decadence.

Available a la carte from 6pm, Chef Palash Mitra’s love letter to Lahore spans heritage street-side starters like Lahori Fish Amritsari Style and Chana Chaat Anarkali, before moving into legendary mains. Central to the celebration are fire-kissed specialties like the whole-roasted Lahori Chargha spring chicken and spiced Bihari Boti, alongside the slow-cooked alchemy of the communal deg featuring a rich Lahori Murgh Choley and the melt-in-your-mouth Nihari Khas oxtail. For one evening, Chef Alyn presents a specially curated menu paired with a selection of Roebuck Estates wines.
