Sorry you missed the boat! This perk has now been claimed.
But do come and join in the fun this Saturday, 1st July and celebrate Chôm Chôm‘s fourth birthday with us…
Chôm Chôm, SoHo’s Vietnamese kitchen and bar, has been celebrating the spirit of bia hoi (sipping fresh beer street side) for four whole years and we’d like to mark the occasion by giving a little something back.
We’ve teamed up with KOTO (Know One Teach One), a Vietnam-based social enterprise that gives underprivileged youths the opportunity to learn hospitality skills and find future vocations. The money raised on Saturday will go towards paying for Hop, a KOTO trainee, two-year programme. Students like Hop are provided not just education, but housing, clothing, food and vaccinations. Hop is a bright and promising talent who would someday like to become a chef.
So to get involved, don your best athleisure and challenge Chôm Chôm’s Head Chef Denham to a hill sprint up Peel street from 4pm-5pm this Saturday. If you beat Chef Denham, we’ll donate $100 to KOTO and you win a pitcher of Pasteur Street Brewing Co. beer (or a mocktail if beer isn’t your thing), but if Chef Denham beats you, you donate $100 to KOTO…but we’ll still give you a glass of beer for your efforts!
If that all sounds too much like hard work, there will be donation boxes available and you can just watch the action from the comfort of the stoop where Chôm Chôm will be offering an extended Hanoi Happy Hour from 4-7pm.
